Peanut Butter Making Business In The Philippines

Are you a fan of a Peanut Butter Spread?

Then turn your hobby into a profitable business.

Aside from being a delicious spread, peanut butter

is a healthy food, rich in protein, potassium and vitamins.

But do you know how this product is made?

Here in the Philippines, especially in Metro Manila..

Binondo is the best part where you can get all the

cheapest and high quality peanuts.

Some of them are imported specially the blanched

peanut while the unshelled peanuts are locally

harvested.

Once you acquire your main ingredient (Peanut) the first

thing you want to do is to cook it.

Either frying it in the oil pan or roast the peanut in the

oven.

But I prefer roasting because this is much healthier.

Next step is to mix all your ingredients like sugar, milk,

butter and salt.

This is why peanut butter is not created equally in the

market in terms of healthiness.

Some prefer to put a lot of sugar and salt to improve

the taste and make it more addictive.

Some are mixing low quality milk and butter that

contains a lot of saturated fats that is totally not

friendly to our heart.

I prefer putting a branded milk, less sugar, less salt and

a branded butter with zero trans fat.

And I have another variant that is very good for a

ketogenic diet.

Meaning, no sugar but I used stevia as sweetener

and a sugar substitute.

This one is much better because it can't spike your

blood sugar and definitely a zero glycemic index.

You can definitely cut back on sugar.

No salt or less is much better, milk is good and the

butter must be branded to ensure that It's a healthy type of margarine...

Always look for a zero trans fat butter.

After mixing all your key ingredients, use a commercial

peanut grinder machine.

The process will take you for about an hour for 10kg of

peanuts.

Pack it in a Pet bottle, seal it.

Don't forget to create your own label then that's it!

Congratulations, you now have your own peanut butter.

It's a lot of work, but rewarding if  you are able to get a

cheap supplier but with good quality raw materials.

And most of all, Peanut butter industry in the Philippines

is now overcrowded.

So creating different variants is an advantage, healthy

options is a must! Go for the quality and not for the

quantity.
